Do you like to save? Do you like to get a deal? Do you love getting something for cheaper then what the other person got it for? ME TO! I lived in Texas for a few years and I really got into the whole couponing deal. Moving back to Montreal I noticed that no one really is "connected" in saving money. So that is why I decided to start up this blog. I will be letting you know how to get coupons. You can get them online, from newspapers, at the grocery store or even straight from the company itself! I will be giving you a list of places to visit on line and services that you need to to register in order to get your coupons. Another thing that I will be helping you out with is getting you unadvertised sales. You can get them INSTANTLYfrom me if you follow me on twitter "extreme_coupon mtl" or add me to your Facebook . I shop frequently and my "smartphone" follows me everywhere....so if there is an unannounced sale on let's say Maxwell house for sale at Jean Coutu...I will tweet it, mention it on facebook and add it on my blog. Sometimes...like for instance...I come across some "deals". For instance...during Christmas I was shopping for presents and I decided to get the Fisher Price Jungle animal toy thing. This is normally 59.99 but they had a tag advertising it for 29.99. Well when I went to pay for it, it rang up as 59.99. Dear shoppers...the law states that if they make a mistake they have to give you a $10.00 credit on the advertised price....SO I GOT IT for FOR 19.99 ....WOOOOOOHOOOOO. That is what this blog, twitter and facebook will be all about!!!! So add me to your twitter, facebook and favorites and lets save, and shop till we drop!!!!!!

MUST READ : Price Labelling And Accuracy

Go to this link : http://www.opc.gouv.qc.ca/webforms/SujetsConsommation/BiensPersonnels/ArticlesSports/IndicationExactitudePrix_en.aspx  and get VERY familiar with this law....THIS WILL SAVE AND CAN SAVE YOU OVER 500$ A YEAR!!!!

In short what this mean is that if you go to pay for an item less then $10 and they charge you more for that item...YOU GET THAT ITEM FOR FREE.  Example : I was at Maxi and they had a store sale on Pantene :$2.50. When I went to pay the cashier charged me like $4.89. I told her that it was on sale...she checked and guess what?  The system's error got me a free shampoo.
If the product is over $10, they have to take off $10 from the sale price. Example : I bought my daughter a V-Reader at Zellers that was on sale for 49.99. When I went to pay for it the cashier charged me $69.99. i advised him that his machine was wrong, verified...i was right and they took off $10 from the 49.99...which meant I got the V-Reader for $39.99.

When i come across these kind of errors...believe me I WILL TWEET THEM TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS IMMEDIATELY!!!!

So read up on this law, understand it and be on the look out for it!
